Job Location: Yinduri, Upper East Region

Job Description
You will be expected to:
• Make planting and harvesting decisions
• Perform long and short-term project management
• Manage, supervise and train farm hand
• Arrange the maintenance and repair of farm buildings, machinery and equipment plan activities for trainee staff, mentoring and monitoring them
• Organize and supervise chemical weed and pest controls
• Understand and work towards production targets
• Market the farm products
• Plan finances and production to maintain farm progress against budget parameters
• Keep financial and other farm records up to date.

Qualification
You will need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture
• Farm experience, preferably in a leadership role
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Physical stamina
• Knowledge of crop market trends
• Understand the implication of weather and make contingency plans.
• A solid understanding of maintenance operations
• Good computer skills and communication skills
