Emmanuel A. Johnson
Managing Director
Emmanuel A. Johnson is the founder and Managing Director of Aesoneg Co. Ltd. He is a Chemical Engineer and a Consultant. He holds a BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), an MSc in Management from University of Liverpool and MSc. Degree in Renewable Energy Technology from KNUST. He also holds a John M. Campbell G4 Course certificate in Gas Processing and Conditioning from Aberdeen Scotland; a certificate in Financial Modeling and Petroleum Project Economics by the International Human Resources Development Corporation (IHRDC), in Boston, USA; a certificate in Law for Engineer (International Contracts Law, Contracts Negotiations, etc) by GIMPA; a Certificate in Project Management and other certificates in natural gas pricing and contract negotiations.
He is a Member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE), and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Consultants (CIAMC), Member of the International Professional Managers Association. He consults for companies such as International Power Company Ltd, Zeal Environmental Technologies, Ameen Shangari Industries among others.
He worked for the Volta River Authority (VRA) on various mainstream large scale energy projects bordering on oil and gas, as the Gas Conversion Project Engineer, Project Manager for the conversion for the VRA’s gas turbines in Takoradi, as a Member of the Technical and Advisory Committees of the West African Gas Pipeline Company and facilitated gas supply to Sunon Asogli Power (Gh) Ltd and to VRA’s gas turbines all in Tema, Ghana.
Ing. Johnson is highly familiar with developments in Ghana’s oil and gas industry. He is currently a Pipeline Scheduler with Angola LNG – SOMG, in Soyo, Angola, where he plays an advisory role of power plant projects ongoing in Soyo of which ALNG-SOMG is facilitating gas supply. He was subsequently appointed the Managing Director of West Coast Gas Ghana Limited, an Oil and Gas service provider company currently having a contract with the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) with the mandate to act as natural gas aggregator for Ghana.

Technical and Operations
OSEI OWUSU KWASI is the technical and operations manager of Aesoneg. An Agribusiness expert with over 15 years experience working in the Agricultural value chain. He previously worked for Ghana Rubber Estate Limited, Agritrade consult, LEAD commodities and Vio-lys farms. He holds a master of science degree in Agribusiness management and a Bachelors degree in Agribusiness management from Kwame Nkrumah University of science and technology and Central University respectively. He is a member of Chamber of Agribusiness Ghana. He likes Sports, Music and traveling.
Sharon Kwarley Quartey
General Manager,
Administration and Finance
Sharon Kwarley Quartey is currently the company secretary and the General manager in charge of Finance and Administration. She is a lawyer who has worked as the administrator with the company since 2018. She has a background in law, Economics, Political Science and Adult Education. She studied Bachelor of Law LLB from GIMPA and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ghana in different years. She has about 5 years work experience in administration with various organisations including the Volta River Authority. She has also worked with the Human resources section of the International Criminal Court, (ICC) in the Hague.
